Who will end sex slavery in Ireland?

I AM horrified by the reports of increasing numbers of women and children being enslaved in the sex industry in Ireland.

I am ashamed to be a citizen of a State which allows the exploitation of these young girls and women in brothels all over the country, not to mention their treatment at the hands of ‘official Ireland’ whenever they manage to break free from captivity.

When I raised this issue with one of our Irish MEPs in Brussels more than a year ago I was greeted with a shrug of the shoulders and a dismissive “what do you want me to do about it?”
