‘Index-linked’ citizens in cloud-cuckoo-land

The whole country seems to be in denial.

We have a national emergency on our hands and most citizens — especially those who are ‘index-linked’ — are living in cloud-cuckoo-land if they think the ordinary Joe Soap is going to carry them on his back.

The party is over for these people.
