A notorious accident blackspot in west Waterford is set to be redesigned following almost 20 years of lobbying.

Large-scale social housing schemes “can be dangerous and lead to anti-social behaviour”, a county councillor in Waterford has warned.

Gardai have arrested two men for questioning about an arson incident which caused an estimated €300,000 worth of damage to a church in Co Waterford.

The whole country seems to be in denial.
