A token president?

BARACK Obama may have won the US presidency, but does anybody seriously believe he will change anything. We live in a conservative world and there hasn’t been a president in contemporary history that hasn’t gone off to war with some so-called foreign enemy.

A token president?

It may have been a triumph for black America, but like all the other men of the White house, he will be told what to do by the Washington war machine when the time comes. Hope may be in the air following his great win, but what will it really mean — a token black person for white power?
