Lisbon opponent must stand up and be counted
It is quite extraordinary that such a leading figure in the campaign against the Lisbon Treaty, when pressed on where he sees Europe going, replies with a pause, hesitance and a response out of one of Stephen Collinsâs books, âEh... I dinoâ.
Mr Ganley should either stand up and be counted or cease opposing something because it helps to pass the time for a few weeks. If he doesnât have a vision for Europe, or at least an opinion on it, then how can he encourage voters to be so cynical of everything that comes from the pen of our elected representatives in Brussels, et al?
It is getting increasingly difficult to respect his viewpoint when he is so dilute in substance.
