Drivers need to take note of medical car
Gaelic football has been allowed to descend into mayhem. Provocation, taunting, intimidation, gloating are all there, both on the field and off the field, for years. It is part of the tactics and it is getting worse. At the same time the whole system, both commentators and administrators, is in denial about this. As a result we indulge in the usual mechanisms of either trying to defend the indefensible, treating it as a joke or looking the other way.
Unless and until those responsible are punished — and given recent debacles I would not be holding my breath — the situation will continue to deteriorate.
