L-drivers are getting a raw deal

IT WAS with little surprise that I heard of the Department of Transport’s admission that fully-licensed drivers cannot be breathalysed when accompanying a learner-driver.

This kind of sloppiness and lack of any forward thinking is rife in the making of our laws.

The new measures for L-drivers are unworkable and discriminatory. The great majority of accidents and fatalities are caused by fully licensed drivers.
