Yesterday he pointed out that more than €6m was distributed as grants by the North/South Language Body without formal approval. There remains a question of whether €1.1m of this was spent as was intended.

We can see the results of poor management of public finances all around us. What we cannot see is the impact this expensive lack of professionalism has on the careers of those responsible. Why is that?
