Poster mystery

ONE Lisbon Treaty campaign poster in particular has caught my attention — superimposed on a copy of the 1916 proclamation is the slogan ‘People died for your freedom — don’t throw it all away’.

Poster mystery

I found this slogan bizarre in itself, but what is also noteworthy is the fact that no name appears on the poster. Is the group that erected it too embarrassed to put their name to it?

It is most disingenuous to say the treaty somehow destroys the freedom we have gained as a nation. This is scaremongering and does nothing to aid the debate on the issue.
