Lisbon treaty will strengthen Europe’s voice

THE European Union needs to be able to respond to the needs of today. Political challenges are changing. We now live in a global village and globalisation is a reality.

The EU needs to get the EU Lisbon treaty passed so that the region can meet new challenges such as climate change.

Europe needs a strong voice on the international stage so it can lobby countries such as China and India to pull their weight when it comes to getting C02 emissions down.
