Who will fill the potholes — them or us?

THEY haven’t gone way, you know.

When will the Government and/or local authorities do something about the proliferation of potholes especially on rural roads? Or will we have to fill them in ourselves in view of their negligence. Are our road taxes not sufficient, or should we be handing over brown envelopes as well?
