Go nuclear — and leave the planet

THERE has been a lot of media commentary in recent times from right-minded individuals — some in the Irish Examiner — who seem to think the answer to all our energy needs is to develop a couple of nuclear power plants.

Fantastic! I couldn’t agree more.

It’s about time our politicians put the needs and wants of big business and the anti-environment lobby above those of the mass of citizens opposed to the idea.
