Registered letter goes round in circles

I WISH to highlight a frustrating encounter with An Post customer service personnel.

I posted a registered letter at Newcastle West post office on December 3. Its final destination was meant to be Singapore. The letter was delivered instead to my own address in Blanchardstown, Dublin, on December 5

I was not at home and the letter was then sent to Roscommon on December 7. When I checked the internet service that An post provides, I was aghast that the letter had ended up in the Athlone mail centre.
