Children subjected to textbook ‘propaganda’

IN response to the letter from Michael Sheehan headlined ‘How can children be so cruel?

Take a look at the school curriculum’ (October 25), I would advise parents with even a vestige of Christianity to inspect their children’s schoolbook material, for we cannot be assured any longer they are getting good, sound education in our schools.

For example, the Magic Emerald book has material which says grandparents are a waste of space — their brains are slow, they are no use to the State and should be exterminated.
