Fotonation plans to double workforce

FOTONATION is planning to double its workforce in the next few years, thanks to strong growth in Japan for its imaging and communications products.

Founded in the US in 1997 the company’s Irish operations are based in Galway where 32 people are employed in the research and development operations.

Managing director of the group’s Irish operations, Shane Fanning, said the group was confident of attracting top quality researchers to its operations.
