Airline’s fixed position

AS a frequent user of Aer Arann, I note that it has followed Ryanair with cheap and uncomfortable fixed seating in its new planes.

This is a backward step for a small but popular airline and many of its passengers will suffer discomfort by having to sit bolt upright for up to two hours.

Surely the minute saving achieved by this move cannot be justified by taking away the comfort of customers.
