Frosty night in Helsinki

RESPONSIBILITY for Ireland’s Eurovision fiasco in Helsinki must lie with those who advised the composers of the lyrics.

It has to be said that anybody who does not see the potential for disaster in a song that waxes lyrical about “archipelagic icicles” deserves to be banished to the farthest archipelago where such icicles may be found.
