Taoiseach’s finances

TREVOR SARGENT and Mary Lou McDonald want the Taoiseach to say even more about his personal finances.

It strikes me that I am unaware of either candidate’s personal finances, whether or not they ever made a financial settlement with a former spouse, or just how much they earned in 1994.

If they ask these questions of the Taoiseach, they too should open their personal papers. And while they are at it, just how much did they make for their communion?
