HSE in holiday mood

WHEN I tried to call the HSE on Good Friday, a machine informed me that the office would be closed until the following Tuesday.

One would think that in view of the HSE’s claim that the nurses have plunged the health service into ‘crisis’ by not answering phones, it would at least answer its own — not to mention the four-day holiday.

Meanwhile the nurses worked away as normal. I am beginning to think they deserve even more than what they are seeking.
