Labour’s lost its socialism

FIANNA FÁIL is proposing to abolish the PRSI ceiling on earnings so that those who earn more end up paying more.

I would have thought that such a policy would have drawn the support of a progressive, social democratic party committed to the principles of social equity and fairness.

The Labour Party, in its knee-jerk opposition to the proposals, is highlighting once again that it clearly is not such an organisation.
