I’m a victim of visa ‘codswallop’

I AM an Indian citizen recently arrived in Ireland after my marriage to an EU (British) citizen who has lived and worked in Ireland for many years.

Initially, the Department of Justice issued me with a temporary visa to enable me to enter the country with my husband after our marriage.

Since he has lived in Ireland for many years, we assumed this was a relatively simple bureaucratic process.
