We should aid starving people of Zimbabwe regardless of its government

IT IS good to see some attention being given to Africa and the Aids crisis since this is a very difficult subject to bring to people’s attention.

It is sad to hear of starvation in Zimbabwe since Aids, like all diseases, spreads and thrives where nutrition is poor, which is one explanation as to why the impact is much less in the developed countries.

When I went as a teacher to a township school in Zimbabwe in 1988, things were really tough, but they are much worse today.
