Eroding public trust

THERE IS an ever increasing number of politicians and State officials playing by their own rules.

What’s also becoming clear is that our tribunals of inquiry are not as public as one would like to believe.

A lot of evidence is given behind closed doors, which raises questions over special deals at so-called public tribunals.
