New-look airport aims to match best in world

I REFER to recent comments on the new terminal at Cork airport in your letters’ column.

The capital investment programme has delivered a state-of-the-art airport campus to Cork and the greater southern region.

The project includes a 28,000 square metre, split-level terminal facility which is three times larger than the old terminal. There is a new fire station, which officially opened last year, as well as a new short-term, multi-storey car park.
