Statistics worthy of greater prominence

The back page listed the more important statistics such as the total number of dead in large type and lesser statistics in decreasing order as one read down the page.

The estimated 40,000 civilian deaths in Iraq, 3,500 in Afghanistan and more than 2,700 US and British soldiers killed were listed on the bottom corner of the page.
