BILL HURLEY (Irish Examiner letters, June 27) compares the treatment of Iraqi men captured by US soldiers with the treatment of US soldiers captured by Iraqi insurgents, asking “where’s the outrage?”

Would he not expect higher standards from professional soldiers from a civilised, democratic country in a peace-keeping situation than from terrorists and criminals, or am I missing something?
