School bus needed hill start to get moving

LAST year I attended a course in an education centre from where we were taken by bus to various locations.

The bus we normally used was well maintained. However, for a period of a week a different bus was supplied. The door on it was held together with rope and it did not shut securely. Some of the tyres were bald.
