Readers blog: Where has the letter *g* gone?

More and more I hear people not using this important letter at the end of a word.

Celebrity chefs are cookin, roastin ,freezin etc.

Sports coaches are puckin out the ball in the game of hurlin.

Radio talk show hosts don't know if they are comin or goin.

I saw three rural TDs being interviewed recently and there was not a *g* to be found among the three of them and I heard a doctor last week complaining about the waitin lists.

Let us start a campaign to restore that important, but oft forgotten, letter of our alphabet - the letter *g*.
