“It’s scandalous” is how one woman living in South Kerry sums up the shortage of GPs in the area as locals, doctors, and politicians unite in calls for the crisis to be addressed.

In a region spanning the towns of Waterville and Cahersiveen only three GPs remain where once there were six.
