Crushing approach to waste issue

PEL Waste Reduction Equipment in Co Mayo is aiming to crack the US market with its innovative Baby Jaws glass bottle crusher.

According to chief executive and founder Tommy Griffith this patented product is the only glass-crushing machine in the world which fits under a bar counter.

“It reduces waste glass volume by 80% and reduces the need for storage space and frequency of bin collections and eliminates the noise pollution associated with disposing of glass bottles late at night,’’ he says.
