Part 2)

Phillip Martin from food startup Blanco-nino talks to Kehlan about creating authentic corn tortillas. Phillip talks about how he went from feeling the business gods were against him to developing a business that is looking to become the largest corn tortilla producer in Europe.

Part 3)

Social Entrepreneurs have made a significant foothold in the Irish business landscape in recent years and Natasha Haslam-Hopwood and her husband, Toby, have created a community for troubled kids and teens. The Galtee Clinic uses pedagogy as a way to encourage kids and is an evidence based approach to working with children in care. Natasha explains how they don’t want to grow bigger but become a trusted place to help those most in need.

Part 4)

One of Ireland’s best kept secrets in business has to Karora Cosmetics. Karen Brown from Karora

talks to Kehlan about breaking into markets around the world and how they started out to on the road to being a global leader in self-tanning skinwear. It’s a fascinating journey from travelling around Ireland in a black Mondeo to signing a contract with ULTA, a beauty and cosmetics retailer in the U.S. which will see them flying the flag for Irish cosmetics in over 700 stores.
