Woman dies two weeks after two-car collision in Co Limerick
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the incident on August 27 (PA)
A woman has died following a two-car collision in Co Limerick last month.
The woman, aged in her 60s, was taken to hospital after the incident at Uregare Cross, Bruff at around 2.45pm on Thursday August 27.
Gardaí said a man, aged in his 50s, who was the driver of the other car, was treated at University Hospital Limerick for non-life threatening injuries.
They said the woman was rushed to the same hospital with life-threatening injuries.
“She has since been pronounced deceased on Wednesday September 9 2026,” they said.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have been travelling in the area around the time of the collision, and who may have any information about this incident to contact them.
