Man due in court over vandalism of multiple vehicles in Cork city

A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the vandalism of multiple vehicles in Cork city and is due to appear before the courts on Wednesday.

Gardaí responded to reports of an incident of criminal damage on Lower Glanmire Road in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A number of vehicles were reported damaged as a result of the incident.

A man in his 30s was subsequently arrested as part of the investigation.

He has since been charged and is scheduled to appear before Cork City District Court on Wednesday afternoon.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed to the Irish Examiner that investigations remain ongoing.
