Tonight's performance by The Coronas at King John's Castle in Limerick had to be suspended after guitarist Lar Kaye suffered a medical emergency on stage.
It is understood the performance was only a few minutes in when the incident happened and emergency services rushed to his aid.
Images were shared by people at the concert of officials holding up screens around the guitarist as he was being helped by medical staff.

When the emergency abated, lead singer Danny O'Reilly came on stage and thanked the crowd for their patience.
"We want to keep going and do the show but until we know 100% that Lar is ok, it just doesn't feel right.
"We want Lar to be with us when we come back (to play the concert). It is looking like it is going to be July 10 or 11. Hopefully that suits you guys to come back. We are so sorry about this," he said.
I’m in Italy with a bunch of Limerick lads on motorcycles and our thoughts are with the Coronas and all the crew the Castle tonight. We hope everyone is safe tonight.
