Two men, 30s, killed in separate crashes in Kerry and Longford
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to the collision.
Two men have died in separate crashes in Kerry and Longford this weekend.
In Kerry, a man in his 30s died following a single-vehicle on Saturday night.
Gardaí and emergency services personnel attended the scene the of the crash, which happened when a car collided with a tree on the L3013 at Knockdooragh in Headford at approximately 11.20pm.
The driver of the car, a man aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road is currently closed pending an examination by Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions have been in place.
Earlier on Saturday evening, a man in his 30s died in a crash involving two cars and a van in Co Longford.
The crash took place on the Longford Town side of the N4 after the Edgeworthstown Roundabout at approximately 7pm.
The man who died was the driver of one of the cars involved.
Investigating gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to both collisions.
