An Irish grandfather and engineer is trapped in Dubai, destitute and facing a travel ban after being jailed but later acquitted following a disagreement with a security guard.

John Murphy, 59, from Limerick, was kept in filthy, cramped conditions in Al Wathba jail, where he developed post-traumatic stress before being released and found innocent seven years ago.
