Gardaí investigating robbery at popular Cork City cafe

The incident occurred around 3.30pm in the Lough area, with a sum of cash reported stolen

Gardaí in Cork City are investigating a robbery at a well known cafe on Lough Road on Tuesday, December 10.

The incident occurred at Lulu's at the Lough at around 3.30pm, when a man entered the cafe and made off with with a sum of cash.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

Staff working in the cafe contacted gardaí who arrived on the scene shortly after and took statements and reviewed CCTV footage.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
