Man, 20s, dies in hospital following early morning crash in Kerry

A man in his 20s has died following a single-vehicle crash in Kerry in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gardaí have issued appeal for witnesses to the collision, which occurred at approximately 2am on a local road at Kilurly at Ballinskelligs.
The driver of the sole vehicle involved, a man in his 20s, was seriously injured and brought to University Hospital Kerry.
Gardaí confirmed on Sunday evening that he had passed away.
Two other occupants of the vehicle were assessed at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
As of 6.30pm on Sunday, the scene of the collision remained preserved pending an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators (FCIs).
Investigating gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the crash, and any road users with dash-cam footage from the area at the time of the incident have been requested to contact Killarney Garda Station 064 6671160, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
Meanwhile, a man in his 40s who was seriously injured in a crash in Co Offaly last Thursday, passed away in hospital on Saturday.
The single-vehicle crash happened on the L2007 (Rahan Road) at Ballykeenaghan.
The man, who was the sole occupant of the car involved, was pronounced on Saturday night at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore.
The local coroner has been notified, and an autopsy will be arranged, gardaí said.
