The funeral of Limerick teenager Rory O'Connor, who died hours after turning 17, heard how his bright smile could "warm the coldest home".

In St Bartholomew's Church in Athea, Co Limerick, family, friends, classmates, and neighbours gathered to remember the teenager, who died after being struck by a van in Listowel after 3am on September 28.
