Cork County Council is set to spend €325,000 on a new viewing platform for Youghal Lighthouse, which has been described as “one of the jewels” of “Youghal’s tourist crown”.

The county council has gone out to tender on the new viewing platform at the lighthouse, with works expected to start late this year and be completed by the middle of 2025.
