Ballincollig man missing in Australia

Ballincollig AFC posted on Facebook that the family and friends of former player Damien Lucey are asking for prayers after he unfortunately got into difficulty in the ocean off Perth, Australia

Bay on Rottnest Island near Perth. Mr Lucey is understood to be in his early 30s and emigrated to Australia a few years ago.

Prayers are being said in a Cork suburb for a young local man who got into difficulties off the east coast of Australia.
