Man, 30s, hospitalised following assault in Ballincollig

A man in his 30s was injured following an assault in Cork on Sunday night.

Gardaí were alerted to the scene of the incident, a residence in the Inishmore Drive area of Ballincollig, at approximately 11pm.

The injured party was taken to Cork University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
