Woman, 30s, in critical condition after Cork City fire 

A Garda spokesman said the woman’s condition was critical.

A woman is fighting for her life after a fire in Cork city this morning.

Four units of the Cork City Fire Service responded to the fire at Acton Lodge bed and breakfast on Western Road at around 11am.

A woman in her 30s was removed to hospital from the scene.

A Garda spokesman said the woman’s condition was critical.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
