Man charged in relation to €100k drug seizure in Cork

Gardaí have arrested one man after seizing drugs worth €100,000 in Midleton, Co Cork. 

The discovery was made yesterday evening after the search of a premises in the Cork town. 

The man, aged in his 20s, has since been charged this afternoon in relation to this seizure. 

He is due before Mallow District Court next Tuesday morning, August 17, at 10.30am. 

Gardaí said the seized drugs were cannabis and cocaine. 

Investigations are ongoing.
