Gardaí renew witness appeal after man's death in house fire

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses after a man died in a house fire in Co Tipperary. 

Gardaí and fire services responded to a blaze at 5am on Tuesday this week at St Michael's Avenue in Tipperary town.

After extinguishing the fire, the body of a man in his 30s was found inside.

A technical examination of the scene has taken place and a post mortem of the body was carried out.

Gardaí are again asking anyone with information or witnessed the incident to contact Tipperary Town Garda Station on 062-80670.

Investigations are ongoing.
