Several taken to hospital following 'serious' incident in Tralee

Several people have been taken to the hospital following a 'serious' incident in Tralee, Co Kerry, believed to be a mass brawl.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the incident that occurred on Mitchel’s Road in Tralee, on Sunday at approximately 10.50pm.
A Garda spokesperson said: "A number of individuals, both men and women, have been conveyed to hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the incident."
A vehicle, as well as other items, were seized by gardaí.
A woman in her 40s was arrested and conveyed to a garda station in Co. Kerry. She is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
A technical examination of the scene has been conducted, and the investigation is ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information in relation to this incident to come forward. Anyone who was in the Mitchel’s Road area of Tralee between 10.30pm and 10.50pm on Sunday is asked to contact investigating gardaí.
