Cork man held 'nasty-looking' knife during confrontation with gardaí

The court heard the man repeatedly shouted in a threatening manner to gardaí.

A ‘nasty-looking’ knife was wielded by a man who approached a garda patrol vehicle telling gardaí to “get the fuck out of the car” and today the culprit was sentenced to a total of 13 months arising out of this and other violent incidents.

Judge Philip O’Leary imposed that total sentence at Cork District Court on Dean Oosterloo, of Mill Park, Old Mallow Rd, Cork.
