John Magnier has been ordered to pay the estimated €4 million plus costs of his failed 19-day legal challenge to the sale of a Tipperary estate to a rival bidder.

At the High Court, Mr Justice Max Barrett ordered costs against Mr Magnier and said the Magnier side had "lied" in their accounts to the court, warranting a higher level of award.
