A sentencing judge said on Wednesday it was tragic to hear of a 15-year-old having to leave mainstream education because his behaviour was so disruptive and then going to an alternative school, and smoking cannabis every day before he attended.

“That is a really concerning, tragic thing to hear that you were going to school under the influence of drugs as a child.
