Man accused of assaulting grandmother who later died further remanded in custody

Accused remanded in custody for a fortnight at Cork District Court

 A 38-year-old man accused of assault causing harm to his grandmother who died in hospital two days later was asked if he would consent to a remand in custody for longer than two weeks today and he replied from prison, “zero weeks”.
